This is an image i did for my Philosophy Clubs poster for an event on Animal Rights next week where we discuss various issues and philosophies concerning animal rights. Should be interesting.
This image is meant to be a bit ironic; It both highlights the hypocrisy a lot of us have concerning how we view animals (awww that lil piggy is so cute! Bah! That croc is horrifying!) and the role of nature and its brutality.
We often forget that one species can, in many cases, only survive by taking advantage of another...as is the case with snakes and their prey. Perhaps this could be why we use rats and bunnies to experiment and do scientific research on; to benefit the human race.
I myself am not too sure on where i stand, i honestly haven't given much thought. So Don't interpret this image as either for or against any given perspective or philosophy. First and foremost I'm trying to be funny; whether or not that actually worked out is up to you, the viewer.
I love this idea so much. I find it ironic that 'animal rights' organizations raid labs and such that were founded to help humanity, and yet the rattlesnake roundups are often completely ignored by them even though there is no gain for humanity as a whole, just personal financial gain from selling skins, belts, and stuffed snakes.
I firmly feel that the ugliest animal is humanity. I also eat meat and like it medium rare with lots of blood! *drool*

I believe in Micro-Plate Tectonics but not Macro-Plate Tectonics. Sure, elevation can change a few inches here and there. But a few inches over millions of years could not possibly produce a mountain.
this is cute. for some reason it really doesn't seem like the bunny is in danger.
i like this poster, i feel it very strongly advocates animal rights. i'm a vegan and a hardcore animal rights supporter.
